How can we help?

Payment provider phone or SMS verification failed

Updated yesterday

In this article

During card, Apple Pay, PayPal, Cash App, or similar checkout, the payment provider may ask for SMS or phone confirmation. That code comes from the provider — StreamEast did not send it and cannot resend or override the check.

This is not StreamEast login

Stop looking for a StreamEast settings fix. The verification lives on the provider’s session. Wait a few minutes, turn VPN off, and restart Buy Premium from the beginning so you get a fresh provider session.

Use a real mobile number

Enter a real mobile number with the correct country code. VOIP and virtual numbers often fail. Watch for SMS or a voice call from the provider. If they offer an alternate confirm option (app approval, email, different flow), use it.

Skip the SMS gate entirely

If phone verification keeps failing, switch to Manual Crypto or Gift Card (Azteco) on the same Buy Premium page. You can finish Premium without that provider’s phone check.

  • Photo ID or full KYC instead of (or after) SMS — separate process; StreamEast still cannot approve it. See the KYC article.
  • Number already tied to another provider account — resolve with the provider or change rails.
  • You already paid successfully and Premium is Free — stop retrying phone; use paid-but-not-activated with proof.
  • StreamEast account email verification failed — unrelated; fix StreamEast email verify or 2FA flows separately.

KYC asks: Why is the payment provider asking for KYC or ID verification? Other provider failures: Card or PayPal checkout errors. Activation: I paid but Premium did not activate
