On match, Live TV channel, and Multi-Stream pages you can change layout from the keyboard. The same keys appear as small badges next to Chat, Theater, and Full Screen in the Controls sidebar.
Shortcut keys
| Key | Action |
|---|---|
| T | Theater Mode on or off |
| F | Site Full Screen on or off |
| C | Hide or show chat |
| Esc | Leave Full Screen first, then Theater |
Where they work
Shortcuts run only when the StreamEast page itself is focused — not while a text field is selected, and not while you are typing inside Twitch chat or the player iframe. Click the page chrome or the Controls cog, then press the key.
They work on desktop match pages, TV channel pages, and Multi-Stream. Chat (C) is skipped when that page has no chat. Theater and Full Screen are hidden on countdown or ended screens.
Theater vs Full Screen
Theater (T) grows the player inside the browser window and hides header and footer. Browser tabs stay visible. Full Screen (F) fills the monitor. Entering Full Screen exits Theater first if Theater was on. The player’s own fullscreen control is separate and hides the sidebar and Sources so only the video remains.
Find the keys in Controls
Open the blue cog beside the player. Chat, Theater, and Full Screen show their letter on the right. Hide sidebar, Share, Back to channels, and TV guide have no shortcut.
